WESLEY THOMAS SAGER
BORN: NOVEMBER 11th, 2011
@ 7:06pm
Wes and I were married for 12 years before we found out we were expecting a baby. I have always wanted to be a mom. In high school we were asked "what we wanted to be when we grew up?" And my answer was always the same. " A stay at home mom!" On March 27th, 2010, I took a test that would change my life forever! We were Pregnant!! It was the best and scariest moment in my life. My pregnancy went beautifully. Medically I had never been so healthy.
I was "due" on November 6th. I'll never forget the 1st time we heard our baby's heartbeat. That was a wonderful sound! They sent me to a specialist where I had several ultrasounds. My baby was healthy! On that last ultrasound the tech grabbed a different wand that she has never used before and while we watched the screen. Our babies face appeared! what a gorgeous face he had! It was a 3D picture!
I sailed through the rest of the pregnancy. ( I can say that now!)
November 6th was still in my head and circled on my calendar! It came and went! My next dr's appt was scheduled for the 9th which the dr decided to admit me that night. Wesley then "decided" to wait 50 hrs to make his appearance. But what a wonderful feeling it was on November 11th, at 7:06 pm. I finally was holding my baby boy and all my dreams came true.
Wesley is a healthy baby boy. He is full of engery and laughter. He makes me proud to be his mama. It has been a priviledge to watch him grow over his 1st year. I couldn't ask God for anything more. It has amazed me how much he has changed. When I go back and look at the photos that I have taken over his 1st year. (and you don't want to know how many I have in my collection) I am thankful for what God has given me. I always knew that I wanted to be a mom but I had no idea that God would give me such an incredible son.
I have tried to capture all of his important moments on film. Now I know that they are all important moments. But I have his first crawl. Him waving. First steps. And I have a baby book that is up to date.
Now, I know that he is only 1 and I have a very long way to go raising him. But he has loving parents that will do their very best to make sure he feels loved and turns into an amazing young man.
But in the meantime. I want him to stay my little baby boy. I know that, that can't happen but a girl can dream can't she?
Wesley, You are loved by so many people. Thank You for coming into our lives!
